Love Sucks

It's not that I'm too lazy to write proper blog posts these days, I'm just kind of busy. Not too busy, however, to scour YouTube to find replacement material.

So next up for your viewing pleasure is a short film from France that nearly broke my heart the first time I saw it (about a year ago).

It's truly amazing what a talented filmmaker can do in three minutes and fifty-four seconds.

  2. Glad you liked it! The first time I saw it, I couldn't believe how realistic the woman's reaction was. It's as if she was in shock. I really felt sorry for her; she took a chance and was made to feel like a fool. I think anyone who has ever been in love can relate to that. Even if everything works out okay, there's still an incredible feeling of vulnerability. Which is why LOVE SUCKS.

  3. This one cut me to the quick. Because I totally would have leaped off that train, too, hopeful smile on my face and everything.
I hope that actor gets seven years of bad sex. My girl probably dodged a bullet.

  4. Thanks Stephanie! Yeah, I would have probably done the same thing. "Take a chance on love!" and then the disappointment. It's a great film precisely because it pulls us in and makes us care about the woman so much. Really well done!
